This week while I was reading through the latest issue of The Horn Book, I came accross an interesting website. The website was titled James Patterson's READKIDDDOREAD.com. The websited states it is dedicated to making kids readers for life.
The website offers lists of books appropriate for various age levels. You can read reviews of various books, have access to interviews with great youth authors, and read about books that your kids will be asking for.
I honestly feel that the more kids are exposed to good books and at the earliest times of their lives is the best time to start encouraging your kids to be readers for life.
